Well, the first major hurricane after Katrina has passed by very close to my father's house, but as he was on the west side of the eye, they only got winds from the landward side. The hurricane's name is Ophelia.

Dan played his first 8th grade football game today. He played a lot on the defensive plays, as a defensive tackle. He got a good tackle on a very large boy who was running right through the line. They stopped Madison High on several plays, had some great offensive plays and won the game with the score 41 to 6. Go, Kennedy!
